We were a little skeptical about this recipe since it called for canned, cubed chicken, but Hailey especially is all about authenticity so we just went for it! Katie, also wanting to stay true to the way the Duggars make it, insisted on buying frozen pie shells, though Hailey was unsure about how those would work. Upon arriving at Hailey's and re-reading the recipe, we realized it actually called for pie
crusts, like Hailey had thought at the grocery store, but it was too late to change anything. So, we mixed the ingredients and put them in one pie shell, then turned the other one upside down on top of it! It turned out very well despite Katie's mistake, and was surprisingly better than expected... and of course very simple, so something we'll make again!
